Good wagon?

    This guy contacted me via craigslist, has a 1980 subaru DL 1600 wagon, 4 spd, factory no a/c, factory no power steering, 142k miles

    You want to step up to the 1800 engine (EA81), a GL and 4 spd dual range, 4X4.

    Nothing wrong with that wagon....just a real dog with the 1600 engine. They are doggy enough with the 1800. Plus, the DL is the lower end model as noted...no ps or AC. If it's a good runner and it's cheap it may make a cheap get around car.
