I would never have guessed it was a Maverick. An Aussie Ford, yes. :)

I've known about it for a few years. I've been lurking on the Maverick International site from time to time. Sorry I ruined this one car for you. I'm sure there are many others out there that you can trick us with.(y)

Why don't you move to the RUST BELT? Less temptation.

In Europe that's 2 gallons! Here that 4 gallons! Stateside 5.5 gallons. Small tank. :(

I found a 1923 Ford Dealer manual that said that the Model T 1-ton truck was worth a 6 to 8 horse team for pulling power, and cost only 6 to 10 cents a mile to run (oil, grease, maintenance). Only 20 HP and max speed of 22 MPH. Those days are long gone, and these days aren't gonna last. On Friday, Global TV had a quick cross-country survey. 56% said these latest increases pushed them to alternative transportation modes, the other 44 were planning to cut back. WalMarts are gonna move closer to town.

now see Norm...if they dropped the worldwide speed limit to 40 MPH...
    then...you'd see some economy cars....like Model A + T's:biglaugh:
....but then you'd be on the road twice as long..i guess:slap:

dam!!....the humanity of it all:biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Out here in San Francisco, I'm always wagon-spotting!

In the city itself, I see some interesting wagons all the time.

For example, I always see a dark blue 1980s or 1990s Ford LTD station wagon, with landau-bar stickers in its rear quarter windows! I guess its owner likes the "hearse" look! ;) I have to admit, I love that "hearse-wagon" too!

A few weeks ago, in the Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco, they were filming the movie "Harvey Milk". A whole bunch of old cars (1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s) were parked around the plaza, including some wagons. I saw these wagons:
    *1977 Plymouth Volare wagon
    *1978 Ford Country Squire
    *late 1950s Mercury wagon
    *late 1970s Pinto wagon

In early February, I went to the Turlock, CA, swap meet. There were quite a few beautiful wagons (and some that needed restoration badly). I saw a 1966 Chevy Malibu wagon, some woodies, and others.

I just wish I could see a 1978-1981 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country around here!
