Buick collector's edition?

A short question and I think I know the answer, but still...
My 1976 Estate Wagon has a hood ornament claiming it to be a 'collector's edition' but my searching on the 'net limits these ornaments to a '85 LeSabre and a '96 Roadmaster. So, is it a 'fun addition' to my wagon?
The seller did list it as a 'Limited', but I have neither found a reference to a '76 Estate Wagon Limited or those hood ornaments in that period.

The hood ornament was added later... there was never such a thing as a '76 Collectors edition.

 

There should have been, being the last year of the clamshells!

Good point that there should have been one! I wasn't going to remove the ornament anyway, but now I have a 'viable' reason to leave it there.

 

In my book, EZ....the wagon IS a Collector's Edition!
