My buddy Laird is still on business in Florida and sent me these pics last night. Enjoy!

This is in front of a salvage yard in Tampa. I WANT it!

And inside the Tampa salvage yard

And this was in the parking lot of Laird's hotel in Tampa. He said he tried everything short of kicking the tires but the car would not talk to him...

You Southern boys like to tease a girl don't yah...

Some of the women that I work with like to go on "Frenchy" (second hand clothing stores) runs. They keep asking me to go...:(...doesn't interest me any...to bad I couldn't get a couple of them to go Junk Yarding in Florida or Texas... :bouncy: hahaha...I can see them now...they'd be heading for the outlet stores...I'd be heading to the salvage yard :rofl2:

Our Junk yards don't look like yours...no good old stuff :disagree:

I love good junk yards....especially if they are NOT in the rust belt. They are getting to be few and far between anymore. Looks to me like there is a lot of good stuff in the pix you have been posting, 81.:yup: I'll bet some of that stuff could see the road again with a little work and some parts.

I took my five year old on to two yard this weekend here in Colorado looking for a new grille and grille surround or the Sport Wagon. I did see a 65/66 Sporty, but there weren't any 68 Skylarks, Wagons, etc.

I do like the look of the Vista.

On of my first cars was a lime green 68 Skylark Custom 4dr hardtop. Had nearly perfect black interior and a black vinyl top. Buick 350 with a powerglide. I loved the styling. The rear bumper design and tail lights were so sharp.

    Miss it!
