Hi Everyone, I am a new member. I have been looking for a 1960 ford wagon (preferably a 2door Ranch wagon) fo r sometime now and figured I could use some help. I am in Southern California, but that doesn't matter. I you know of one for sale, Please let me know John
Welcome aboard. Nice choice of wagons to find. Saw this one on Craigslist, but its not mine and its no where near me. I think it'll buff out. Well maybe not, but looks fairly solid in the quarters. http://ithaca.craigslist.org/cto/2267849690.html RARE 1960 FORD 2-DOOR RANCH WAGON (Ithaca) Up for sale is rare 1960 Ranch Wagon 2-door out of Abilene Texas. I need to sell some of my projects. It would be a great car done. If interested call 607-279-3185
I have talked to the guy who owns this. No hood, windshield, motor, trans, rusted hole through firewall, and holes in rear floor. probably more. He wants $3200. too much to fix
Welcome to the forum John. You picked a hard one there. Sounds like you may want to do some modding on it, but finding a solid '60 Ranch might be difficult - and a bit costly. Personally, I love the styling of the big 60 Fords, and they really look cool modded up. Because of the difficulty in finding a suitable '60, do you have a second choice? 2-door Falcons are nice, and maybe a bit more plentiful. I've seen some 2-door '58 Chevys out there. Maybe a '61 Ford, which might be a bit easier to find, but maybe not quite as unique. Whatever you're doing, keep us updated.... Marshall
Back in November there was a member here selling a 4 door 60 Ford wagon. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11642 I know its not the 2 door you want but personally I like that one better than the 2 door versions.
