Hi everyone! This is so cool! A forum dedicated to those who are dedicated to keeping the best ever cars on the road and in use! I was just browsing for images of some of my favorite wagons, #1 being the 1967 Buick Sport Wagon (the first car I ever drove by myself - without permission of course. lol), #2 being the 1971 Chevrolet Kingswood Estate Wagon, when I found this forum. I look forward to reading many good memories that were built in the station wagons of your history. Mark
Hello Mark...so glad you found your way here...it is great finding like minded folks to hang with, isn't it?
Welcome Mark hope you enjoy this forum as much as I have since joining at the beginning of the month.
Welcome, Mark. Those Buick Sportwagons are out there - I've seen some ads... Keep this link in your 'favorites' http://www.cars-on-line.com/stationwagon.html They've got a '67 Olds Vista right now, but no Buick. This is a good one, too. Sort of a 'compilation site' for wagons on E-bay: http://www.oldstationwagonsforsale.com/station-wagons-for-sale Check our 'links' section for some other ad listing sites. Post up some into on that Saturn LW200. I don't think anyone here (but you) has one. I was taking a look at them myself prior to buying my HHR.
Let the FUN begin!!!!! Hi BigBarney, and of course the rest of the gang who have welcomed me to the MOTHER OF ALL FORUMS! Wow! I knew I'd like this one just because of our mutual love of all things station wagon but I was not expecting the rapid encouragement from this many of you. Thank you! As for the " Mark. NOW GO FORTH AND SPENDBTW, THE DESEASE ONLY GETZ WORSE:banana:" I do plan on finding my 67 Sport Wagon, but I have to save up for it. I refuse to go into debt for something just because I want it so badly. But, when I do get the money up for it (after paying off the ex ) I plan on getting one and restifying it to better than new condition, and then I will use that as my daily driver . After all, what better way to pay homage to a true classic of classics than to use it the way it was designed? Well, I'm off to the races - at least in my midnight dreams! Good night all. Mark

RE: Missed it by 10 yearz Hey BigBarney, Thanks for the heads-up! I would jump at the opportunity to own it if I could afford it at this time. Perhaps, if they would take less than like $400 for it I could justify obtaining it at this time but, like I said in my initial hello post, I really have to save up the money to afford another car :banghead3:, especially one that wouldn't be primary transportation until I have the chance to go through it and make sure it is mechanically sound. Again, I really do appreciate ur lookin out. Would you be kind enough to ask what they're gonna be wanting for it? Like I said, if they want like $400 or less then I may be able to swing it, but me thinks that will likely be a tad on the low side. Thanks again!
