Really hate to get rid of this car it gets lots of attention everywhere i go, and i'll be sad to see the car leave but i am going through a divorce and need to get rid of my stuff. $9500 cash only
This is disturbingly cool... Kind of seems too good to be true considering the price of Camaros these days...
Sounds like people were playing the 'telephone' game with the car's history - you know the game where one person whispers a phrase to the next person, and so on down the line, then the last person says the phrase out loud and it's nothing like the original phrase? Originally made in the Van Nuys plant... One of less than 4,000..... Is the seller claiming this is one of 4,000 Camaro wagons built? This Camaro was obviously built in the back of somebody's body shop...... With that photo, it's kinda hard to tell how it was built. Stretched wheelbase for sure. The top kinda looks like it's got a bit of late 60's Plymouth Belvedere or Dodge Coronet to it. And it does look like it has operating doors - that would have been the hardest part of the project to build.
But even more disturbing, it is posted in the "auto parts" section, not the "cars & trucks" section... Dan
They've got a 3-page thread about it over on the Team Camaro Forum, but not much in the way of additional information.....
I wouldn't be surprised to find this thing has a Chevelle frame under it...... CL ad now flagged for removal...
I know Camaros. I've owned and collected them for more than half my lilfe. I can tell you they NEVER built a 4-door Camaro wagon. GM build a couple 2-door wagon prototypes, but were later crushed (documented). They later took the idea and built the Vega Kammback wagon. This car was either build in a body shop, or Photoshop!! Beware of this one.
