Shown here is the Ikea car in a box. The tool you get with it, the ONLY tool, is shown under the kit pic. Ummm.....don't count on this really happening. BTW....doesn't the car look suspiciously like a Yugo??
LOL...Looked for the lights after you mentioned them, 442. Didn't help me any, though. I like the Golf and thought it looked like one but I know a guy around here that has a Yugo that I saw once and this pic reminded me of that car. I should have known better.....I doubt the Yugo engine has that many parts!
I seem to recall magazine ads from many years ago where you could by military surplus jeep kits. Very cheep, full assembly required. LoL, I thought my wagon was big until I disassembled it. Its amazing how much more room a car takes up that way.
Kit Yugo would probably go together in about an hour - assuming all the parts fit correctly. One extra tool needed for the Yugo, though....
Got kind of a funny story related to what we've got here, don't think I've mentioned it before.... Back around 1994, I was doing 'quality control' for the insurance company I worked for. part of the job involved visiting body repair shops that wanted to get on our 'direct repair' program. This was real adventageous to the shops - would give them almost a guaranty of a steady amount of business. Well I was tasked to go to this one shop, well known for being rather hi-end and expensive. Worked on a lot of Benz's and BMW's....They had all the right stuff, so we agreed to add them. They were quite pleased with themselves and salivating ovr how much business they would be getting.... I visited them about 2 weeks after they were added on, and checked their assignment log.....They had only one assignment so far. You guessed it --- a Yugo.
O O O...it's like wheres Waldo...took a minute but I found them too Kinda looks like Fannie right now
