For years the American way of live was a dream for many European people and for many businessmen.

In the 30's, 40's and 50's many European car makers build car with a taste of America. The bitch wagon is one of these. Even her name was a reminder of the USA.

In the 60's some American car makers started to look at the European design as the good one to build tasty cars. You can clearly see the European influence in the Avanti and in the Corvair. Maybe it was one of the reasons American dislike them both.

In the 70's the fuel and economic crisis obliged car makers from all over the world to reduce car sizes. And this makes the European and American cars closer. Since the 80's, I'm afraid they all makes "Japanese" cars and they will soon make "Indian" and "Chinese" cars

    :162: Thx David
Some help will certainly be welcome I guess...
The "bitch" is from a Western Europe major car maker, still going on, now becomed a world major. The founder of the company was always looking at the American way of live as the way to go. The company is still named by his name.

Yeah - found the Peugeot 203. It was very close, but not exact.
I think I've got the country correct, though...

You're right about the country KK

And so it cannot be a Benz, and it's not a Citroen (which is not a World major car maker)
