Looks very close to the green patinata 1952 Town & Country discussed in another post. Same hatch, same inges, nearly same bumper, but tail light are differents, so probably not the same year. 1951 or 1953 T&C ?

Edit: Oups, too late (and too early!) :D

I'll guess DKW by Auto Union, maybe early to mid 50's.

My guess of a DKW was a guess. They were ugly little West German cars that were sold in the US in the late 50's to very early 60's. This wagon doesn't look like the DKWs I have seen pictures of, but the shape of the doors and front fenders look like DKW. The doors on this one are hinged at the back and I thought they would have been hinged at the front on a DKW. I admit I do have an huge collection of books that I've collected since I was a kid. Somewhere in all those books, theres probably a picture of every make and model car made around the world from the late 50's to mid 70's. This little wagon probably shows up in one of those books.
But since I have always been interested in scale models and toy cars, and since so many vintage toy cars were replicas of European cars, I think thats really how I've come to recognize alot of cars that I've never seen before.

Now I wanted to do the one below but couldn't find a picture of a wagon. Maybe they only did coupes and sedans. For extra credit whats the car below. It is not from the same manufacturer or country as the wagon above. As a hint, the wagon above featured a six cylinder American engine and the car below featured a V-8 American engine.

That is different, but it looks like some kind of Dodge '68/69

Well, your guess is as close on this wagon as my guess was on the DKW, so it looks like you're the winner and its now your turn to post one for us to guess. That was a very good guess. Like Gray07 I thought it had AMC styling influence, but maybe some Ford styling mixed in as well. The grille looks to me like a cross between the 68-70 AMC Rebel and the 68-69 Ford Torino. If I didn't know what it was I doubt I would have guessed a Dodge myself.
The wagon is indeed a Dodge, but not from 68-69. Its the 71-76 Dodge 3700 GT and its a car made in Spain based on the A-body Dodge Dart/Plymouth Valiant platform and its powered by a slant six.
