    Saab? MG? This one is driving me nuts! I know I have seen this car...maybe not in wagon form....but I can't conjure what exactly it is. The angle doesn't help either.

    The front fender area looks a lot like a 'luxury' Fiat model that was built in the 70's or early 80's - larger than a 124,and with a 4-cam V6. Can't for the life of me remember what they called it, though (and I only remember coupe and sedan models) (and only a few made it to US, privately imported)

    ==================
    Edit: Was thinking of the Fiat 130. Here'sthe coupe version -

    Edit: Peugeot 504 Shooting Brake (Was this a coach-built model?)
    This one's Mike's................

    Yes Fox, Peugeot ! Any idea about the serie model it's based on (I don't ask you the precise name of this wagon, it'll not be fair) ?

    One last pict. There are nearly no more, this prototype is supposed to have been destroyed shortly after it was unvailed. Story says there could be one left in a hidden space...

    It's the Peugeot 504 Riviera made by Pininfarina for Peugeot in 1971.

    Fox, is it your turn or is it time for KK now ? I don't know, I've just seen he edited is post with the answer :1st:

    BTW Krash, the Fiat was a pretty good idea. Same designer, nearly same car. A shooting brake was build based on the Fiat 130 coupé, called Maremma

    :banghead3:

    I was convinced it was an Italian car by the looks.. searched for AR, Fiat etc.

    It was the 'French Connection"

    Should have come up with the Pininfirina connection myself: drive a Peugeot (winter beater) nowadays (first and last french car I will ever own.. period!)

    Thanks, Barto...that was a good one. That car has some Citroen lines to it.
    OK...the one I have will be guessed quickly for a simple reason that I won't disclose until after it IS guessed. Except for the mentioned reason it might tougher to guess what it is.:yup:
