What vehicle do you wish you could get your hands on - but can't since they didn't sell it where you are? I'll start with this one - the Nissan X-Trail. A really good-looking small SUV, about the size of a Ford Escape (maybe one notch smaller...) But noooooo - Nissan insisted on selling us in the US the lame Xterra.... I believe you Canadian guys could get one though......
The VW Schwimmwagen by far. I would order the Schwimmstationwagonwagen variant of course. That red SUV is so much taller than wide it looks like even a baby wolf could huff and puff and blow it over, the thing looks like it's ready to fall over on it's side sitting still , do they have kickstands?
Yes,us Canucks could get the X-Trail. Basically a mix of Sentra/Altima parts put on steriods, added all wheel drive to fight against the Honda CRV. The X-trail followed the original CRV formula of small compact CUV with 4 cylinder motorvation . It did sell moderately well since the CRV has bulked up to almost full size porportions with a V6. The problem was it had an identity crisis. The front looked like a Sentra, the side view looked like a Land Rover, and the rear-with its high mounted taillights-looked looked like a Volvo 850 wagon.
Here's a few more....the Holden Commodores.... Wagon - we were close to getting this here when they were importing the Pontiac G8 The El Camino (they call it the Ute...) and make it a crewcab version...
K.K.,Yah fergot to add the wordz "WITHIN MY PRICE RANGE" I'd like to mention the MOTHER OF ALL 4WD'z THE LAMBORGHINI LM-002. That V-12 Screamer makes the Hummer 2'z 'n 3'z look like they belong in the backyard sandbox And I'm not really into SUV'z. But if yah got an extra 100 Large layin' around that you'd loan me for say maybe the next 50 yearz, I'll Boogie that Bad Boy to the Left Coast an take yeah for the ride of your life BTW, You know I'm not 'puter savy enough to put a pic of one of 'um up here, wimper, wimper
The civilian version was often marketed toward rich Saudi sheiks because of its incomparable performance in the desert due to the Scorpion tires, an over-sized radiator, and a large air cleaner which sat on top of 6 Weber carburetors. For those requiring even more power, the L804 7.2 litre marine V12, more commonly found in Class 1 offshore powerboats, could be specified.
Thankz Steve. WHAT AH BEAST:banana:My understanding iz that even matching leather holsterz for the body guardz Uzi'z could by ordered for the two facing seatz in the back. YOOOO K.K., Care tah make that loan fer 200 large? Wife sayz IF I GET ONE SHE WANTZ ONE TOO
