OK, I know that snow is no big deal to most folks and to others it's annoying and only complicates things but, we in Ridgecrest get snow on average every four years or so. It's unusual for us and a mere dusting of snow is enough to close schools here. My going to work was delayed two hours as the base was closed....:rofl2: I grew up in Massachusetts so this snow fall was kind of little IMO.

I'm sure you are enjoying the lack of lawn mowers and weed whackers like you'd hear most days.

Drove up US 395 today, from SoCal (past Tbird's Ridgecrest, CA) to Carson City, Nev. Lots and lots of snow, starting from about Ridgecrest, all the way up. It's been clear for the last couple of days, so the roads were REAL good (kudos to those CalTrans guys...) My outside temp guage showed ZERO DEGREES near Mammoth......
