Way cool!!! But now I'm mad 'cause I haven't seen it yet. I'm recognizing the surroundings. The barn-building in the background, next to the fast food joint looks like a place in the next suburb up from us. I may just have to take a cruise around that town this weekend...OK, well, maybe not this weekend. S'posed to continue raining this weekend. I don't think whoever owns this car would take it out in the rain. I'll have to wait until it stops raining...perhaps in May...or June. I gotta see this car, though.
Critiquing the "RM-X" The owner did a very nice job on this, duplicating the 'essence' of a GN-X on the Roadmaster. I do have a slight bone to pick, though. As styling evolves from year to year, actual application of certain elements changes - the Pontiac split grill , for instance. In this case, I don't think the owner had to duplicate the wide dark stripe down the side, at least in that place. I would have perhaps done a wide second color all around at the bottom, at the level of the bumper rub strip, or maybe the narrow stripe immediately below the beltline. Anyway, it's a very good job. I especially like the base bronze color. Someone find this guy and get him to join up - obviously a wagon enthusiast.
If he went with a stock vintage Buick wheel, that would be the icing on the cake! Sweet looking wagon though! JMO, Clark
very cool! it needs different rims, and thats a fact. lol. im thinking of a set of hotwheels "sixty-eight" rims with redline tires. i would also do something else as far as the grill is concerned. the buick emblem in it is nice, but it is still waaaay to chevy for my liking. -bob
