Hi. I am new to the Station Wagon Forums, but not to GM B wagons. Currently have 4 of them: 1985, 87 and 89 Olds Custom Crusier, and a 1990 Buick Estate. Right now working on the Buick. It is amazing how well the tailgate hardware works when it is cleaned, relubricated, and properly adjusted. The back window, after taking it completely apart and cleaning and lubricating the regulaor, moves like a guillotine! Does anyone know where you can get quality bumper fillers for these models? The only aftermarket ones I have seen are ABS and they are very poorly made. I am also looking for a 1989 Safari in great condition if anyone happens to know of one. Thanks!
to the wagon train, boogie. Those box wagons are some of my all time favorites. Built a few of them over the years. Post up some pix of those first chance you get. We love to see pix of members' wagons.
I usually start my b-body searches over here: http://www.rmsautoparts.com/search.php Really bad search engine, but a good source.
Yup...I use RMS....good people and a good source. If they don't have it they will try to find it. Even if it is out of production.
Hi there. I posted several threads on my dads 86 Buick Estate Wagon resto and I still have a pair of factory Front bumper fillers that are not cracked or damaged and still very pliable. Please contact if you are interested. They are painted brown but if you are painting everything anyway it shouldn't be a problem. Ted
Those will be snapped up in NO time, Ted. Nice of you to offer them...they are getting more rare all the time.
89 Safari My dad has an '89 Safari, with 6x,xxx miles. White with wood grain. Blue cloth interior. Aside from the laminate on the woodgrain, it's pretty much mint. He would probably sell it, but it wouldn't come cheap.
