I asked for more pictures, specifically underneath. this was the response I got.

"We do not have any more pictures - the car has no body rot if that is your concern. It has been garage kept since it's purchase in 1984 - we are the original owners. Just let us know when you would like to see it. Thank you"

I guess i'll have to take the drive........

I sent that guy a question last time it was listed he said it was off the road since 1996 and since he is also selling a 1930 model A.

I figure there must be a problem with it if it was off the road for 14 years.
But havings said all that at the price I would have looked if it closer (about 2 hours from me) and maybe a few years older I hate computers in cars.

You are giving the GM CCC waaaayyyy more credit than it deserves.

Overall it looks like a nice car. Is this a replacement for your other Caprice wagon?

that's my thinking. it's about 2 hours away from me which isn't a big deal. I just know that it's really not the right time to spend that kind of money. i figure i could sell off the 87 i have for a few dollars to make back. i also wonder about taking that same money and putting it into what I already have and feeling like i accomplished something. i just hate to pass up on what could be a good deal and wonder if another will come way again.

It's a NY car...look closely underneath. Says it comes with studded snow tires so you KNOW it's been in the salt. The paint looks bad, has a bench front seat and the arm rest is worn worse than some. My guess is it will be worth 1300 or less when you look at it. My guess is they will take 8 or 9 hundred.
You DID ask what we think.:yup:

you're right, i did ask. i value the opinion of others in areas i stink at. it also keeps me from being impulsive. if i had the $ to spare, i might have looked into it. i'll work with what i got. i'll try being patient for a change and see how that works.
