Great find! The way the di-noc matches the body lines is fantastic!

you want the chassis manual, old greasy ones cost $50 +

you would search by year for them.

I think that motor was the most hp that the 455 can get.

Yep, the 1970 455 is the one that buick junkies want. After '70 the 455 fell prey to emission laws and lost a bunch of power.

I found some great manuals on ebay. They are a little pricey but seem worth it. I realized why I wasn't finding them on ebay. If you put fewer words in the search, you get more results. I just dropped of the "estate wagon." I even found a hard back manual.

I looks like this one is on the long road to restoration unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse. My first car was a 1966 Mustang that my dad and I restored. It took about 2 years, from ages 14-16. I've been looking for a classic that the whole family can enjoy and now I guess I have it. Heck, how many old hot rods out there actually have AC? Guess its time to sell a bike for a little cash flow.

I should have some int pics soon. BTW, does anyone have a favorite seat cleaner. The original seats are near perfect. Since the car has been indoors since 1983 there are no cracks and not dried out. The only problem is that they are cream color and a little dirty. Same thing with the seat belts. I would like to clean them without risk of damage since they are original.

When I got my Parisienne, the door panels were absolutely filthy. I tried soap and water as well as several vinyl cleaners and they scarcely made a dent. Ultimately I dismantled the panels to isolate the fabrics and went over all of the vinyl with Polishing Compound and a toothbrush followed by some Armor All to get some protection back onto it. All of those vinyl pieces just glow now. They look as good as the day the car rolled off the line. The rest of the car doesn't match yet, but my door panels sure are clean and shiny!
