A foot of snow is coming tomorrow http://www.wmur.com/weather/stormwatch/flakes-fall-overnight-commute-could-be-slick/31003352 But I found this for people leaving Florida for points north. https://www.youtube.com/watch?x-yt-ts=1422579428&v=HPXhvbS0HL0&x-yt-cl=85114404#t=709
Snow and more snow Son back in Illinois sent this from his back yard. He was going to visit his daughter in Omaha but took three hours to blow snow off his drive that normally takes one hour. It's that really wet heavy crap....ooops snow! And just another reason I'm not packed to move. It only got to a sunny 75 today.
It finally warmed up... enough so I took Skipper for a walk around the block. It's been in minus double digits for a long time and with the wind chill factored in it's been in the high -20s. To cold for man(woman) and beast(dog). But this evening it warmed up to only -8 (-14 with the wind chill). So Skipper and I set out for a nice quiet walk around the block. We didn't see any one else out walking but there was a couple of kids skating on the rink in the park. Lots of stars against the black sky...nice night.
"Not fit for man nor beast." Wow fannie, I haven't heard that for years. Just how young are you? It's only 60 degrees but sunny. I had to wear a heavy flannel shirt outside. Not fit for this man! Dollie went out to the garage to toss in a load of laundry. Wasn't fit for beast either!
fannie, fannie, fannie.............Neither rain, sleet, locust, or snow, should ever prevent anyone from taking the dog/s out......well OK, forget the rain part
Tedy Tedy Tedy she refused to go out and well and I really didn't try to hard cause I didn't want to go either. to frigin cold! I know you live in Canada's Florida but the rest of us Canukians really look forward to and enjoy hibernation. It's a part of the cycle of life.
Oh I'm young, really young! I just used that OLD saying to make you feel good. You kinda like a little stroll down memory lane.
When I read this the first time I thought you were losing it, I didn't follow what you were talking about... apples what does apples have to do with a BBQ??? And I thought the BBQ looked like the roof of a car. But I see it! that's cool it looks like a big tree. I didn't know you grow a lot of apples. I like to eat a lot of apples.
We in the valley grow apples not me personally. Yes i think you are right it looks like my brother in laws wagon (when i made it bigger) Not too many bbq's with an antenna! Either way a pretty cool frost pattern.
Memory Lane is under a snow cover. And I think that hybernation stuff is getting to you and Skipper. You need to grab a couple of apples and get out of the cabin.
I don't think your brother-in-law would appreciate you BBQing in his station wagon! I was wondering what that picture had to do with BBQ's. But like fanny, cabin fever must be getting to you. Maybe it's time to pick up a seed catalog and order a few apple trees for spring.
I was originally told it was the bbq, but when i made the pic bigger i realized it was the car. Would enjoy using the bil car for a bbq but thats another issue!
