Money I assume would be in Canadian buckaroonies, since it's in the Vancouver BC CL.
    - That would only be about $5,100 U.S. buckaroonies......... Of course there might be some import duties to the U.S. . Anyone have any idea as to how much that would be?

Surprised the 'wood' is still very nice on this.

Check this out. It's a Mopar site, but the info would apply to any vehicle.

    Here's the relevant part:

Duty is 3% on the first $1000 and 2.5% on the balance if not made in the US, Canada, or Mexico. If the VIN starts with 1=US, 2=Canada, 3=Mexico, 4 & 5=US (free trade zones), anything other than the 1-5 will have duty to be paid at Customs.

Finally something I actually know. I live on the border and I am surrounded by...at least 5 cars I’ve brought here from Canada in the last 5 years (and a brand new Lund). No duty if 25 yrs or older. Inside 25 years it is year dependent on year, make, model and DOT cert. I have brought in a couple of 90,s cars over the years but after about 2001 or 2002:it gets tricky. I don’t bother anymore.

Easy Peasy. Just take car to border with bill of sale. There are a couple of forms they will fill out, you sign, get on your way. If you fill them out in advance they get mad!
