      Ahh,the 4-V...Cadillac patented and copyrighted "V-8"...They couldn't stop the press from saying V-8 all the time,but Ford had to call there's the 4-V.Mopar came up with names like Wedge,or just left the designation off...But then again,can you say Hemi?:)

      Actually with the 429 -4v designation on the air cleaner lid, Ford is I believe referencing the naughty 4 venturi or 4 barrel carburetor on this big block to pump as much fuel as possible into those big cylinder bores for max power to move those big Squires down the road faster to the grocery stores.
