Let me see them. I want to build one, simple stock looking but with big billets. I seen a few pop up on the craigslist and they were cheap but is there parts still out there?

Just made it the 1970s parameter. My 1979 Fairmont Squire with Fairmont Grille:

    and now, with Zephyr Grille:

Can`t find those Fairmonts anymore, very rare now. I`d take one just for transportation. Can`t kill the 6cyl.

Next summer, I'll install a Turbo from a Mustang 2.3L in it. They handle better than a stock Mustang too. The front V8 wagon swaybar is bigger than most performance Mustang offerings today. Mine is mostly 'Mustanged' inside. Comfy, and lots of lowend torque. No highend though, but I can wait.:rofl2:(y)

Parts? Depends on what you decide on and what you consider easy. 1970's vintage parts are pretty common compared to, say that '58 Buick Caballero we saw recently. And lots of GM parts will interchange, so that helps. It's usually the wagon specific stuff that is becoming harder and harder to find.

What kind of wagon are you considering and what kind of budget? I'm in central FL too, so I'll keep my eyes open.

It occured to me that some readers here might be a bit young for this quip. I had to really dig to find these...

I like the Nova wagon, I had one a few years ago. I`m too big to fit in it. I`m 6'3".
Teej, I`d love to have a GM no 78 and newer. I like the early 70`s Mopars, the ones that are rounded body style. Not too much of a Ford fan but I like the big Lincolns. I remember a few months ago there was a 71 or so Plymouth wagon for $1500 near you. It was on the craigslist. Oldtown is now letting 1975 and older do the cruise oin Saturday nights!

Yeah, no sympathy here on leg room. Barefoot I'll clock in at about 6'7", so I have to move my seat in everything. If really like a car, you can figure a way to make it work. I've got some challenges ahead of me for my '58. People back then were short(er).

I'd really like to see a 70's Nova wagon.:)

That Mopar cop wagon on the old Adam-12 TV series was cool.

They're letting brand new "musclecars" and anything with oversized wheels and rubber band tires into the big weekly cruise here now, including a large influx of beater pimpmobiles.
    There goes the neighborhood.:(
