Gee wiz, guys! Thanks so much for all of your kind words! I should post at least one photo per week, and I would never get discouraged ever again! :biglaugh:

Today, I sanded and sealed the cargo flooring and fold-down rear seat. Those pieces alone must weigh at least 250 pounds!

Reassembly of my wagon is going to be a challenge. When I took this thing apart, I was not really thinking I would go this far with it, and that it wouldn't be apart so long. "I'll be able to remember how everything goes together." Riiight. :banghead3:

Fox, the black paint on the outside and floors is a PPG sealer.
It's Deltron NCS 2005 sealer, with NCX 2200 catalyst hardner and DT 885 reducer. It's mixed 2:1:1. It lays out so nice, with no texture, and a nice smooth semi-flat finish. It's incredibly easy to use, and I am so happy with it. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Thanks again for so many kudos!

    David :)

Yeah Foxy, you can buy it at most any auto color store that carries PPG products. It is not cheap. In all, I think it is about 180 bucks for the three parts. :slap:

See how that sculpted look follows toward the rear above the front windows and then goes up onto the top right at the right place for Wix's design? Then that sculpted rise flows back forward to a point on the top. A moon roof on this car would be a big mistake, IMHO.

Well, Rev and Foxy, these posts go all the way back to January, but at this point, to sunroof or not is probably a moot point!
I doubt I will put a GM steel sunroof in it. :( I, personally, would love to install one, but, alas, I haven't had any luck in finding the correct unit.

They were pretty rare before 75 or so, and then the glass panel sunroof/moonroof caught on...those aren't quite as rare.
But the huge GM B&C-body metal sunroof is pretty dang hard to find!

Rob told me he thinks that a big junkyard in Denton my still have some Rivs with them, but I haven't checked yet. They would probably want a pretty penny for one.
But if I want to see about it, I better get off my duff...it's probably now or never! :yup:

No matter how it turns out, Rev, you still got shotgun! :Woot::character0182:

    David :)

David, if you are talking about CTC Autoranch then yes they are pretty proud of their stuff. But then again if they have it, it would be a nice addition to your wagon. Looks great either way!

Ah Man, what a killer to lose that with just seconds to go. I don't question what you were willing to pay, after all you have done, I'd only want the best of the best:tiphat:
