It all started in 1972 when my father brought home a 1970 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser. It was a very good wagon and with its high compression 350 rocket V8 engine it held its own very well in its class. Our family had a great time with this vehicle traveling, camping and towing and it was regrettable that we let it go but it started a trend that to this day we have always had and enjoyed station wagons. My father still drives a 95 Buick Roadmaster and I have many other wagons. Thanks to all for this forum.
California? There's still people down there? I thought that it would go to hell in a handbasket after I left........... LOL Welcome! Marshall
Yeah - saw that in the news after you mentioned it in a post. Looks like on a map that Tehatchapi is about 50 clicks S/W of you - getting any smoke?
Please excuse my spelling for I'm awful at it. Regrettably I don't have much time for threading but I will do what I can. As for some pictures of my wagons I will post some but let it be known that they are not in presentable condition. The collection consists of the following: -1960 Pontiac Bonneville Safari -1966 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser -1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser -1971 Chevrolet Townsman -1972 Buick Estate -1972 Chevrolet Kingswood -1972 Chevrolet Estate -1972 Ford Country Squire -1973 Buick Estate -1973 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser -1974 Chevrolet Estate -1974 Ford Country Squire -1975 Buick Estate -1978 Buick Century Wagon -1979 Oldsmobile Diesel Cutlass Cruiser -1980 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser -1981 Volvo 240 DL Wagon -1986 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon -1986 Volvo 240 Wagon ...and a few more cars. And as for Krash, California is getting ready to crash!
