They didn't start using roadsalt until around 1965 and by the looks of those weeds, that car missed a lot of road-time.

You have to love prairie farmers. They don't usually bother trading in their cars. Pickups and farm equipment gets traded in, but the family roadwarriors rarely. We noticed that in North Dakota too. They leave them in the field or line up the 4-wheeled ancestors near the highway. Good memories and stories with every new car too.

Anyway, raodsalt doesn't work below -15C, and that's about 4 of the 6 months of our other season (don't want to wake it up ). This is Construction season. :biglaugh:

When I look at pictures I always see detail for some reason. When I was growing up in Massachusetts those big leafy plants were called "Skunk Cabbage".

Canada sure looks pretty in the summer. It has to because if it looked like where I live nobody would stay for the winter only to be disappointed come summer time.:tiphat:

And I thought my hedge looked ok. I cut the lawn a couple days ago, and it rained, so I left the edging - skunk cabbage, huh? I'll trim it tomorrow!

Actually, it doesn't look to be in that bad of a shape. All the trim seems to be there but it looks like the side window of the cargo area may be gone. If that's the case, the interior must be shot since all the rain and snow could have gotten in.

Brian, its safe out here. There's only 3 cities with more than 20,000 souls in the Province. Only one, mine, has enough scrapyards big enough to go find it. Like maybe 3 or 4. And we won't tell! :rofl2: All the others are over 1,000 miles away.

I'm thinking it's the same car all cleaned up. The original posting had me thinking the left rear window was missing and the second one says that same window is missing. But then, the first one said it has a 327 and the second, cleaned up version, has no engine. I say it's the same one; how many red '62 Parisenne's can there be in that area?

Perhaps someone bought it and is flipping it, or assisting the owner sell it.
