That's basically what's needed here. So far, we don't have any Provincial Emissions issues, so I may slide through with quality safety components and a Volunteer emission test report from one of the Universities. I hope. :)

Thanks. Number 1 looks like a lot of fun, alright. Number 2 is a parts car like the fellow says. Number 3 is a nice example of the workmanship.

But most impressive is that Numbers 1 and 3 are even still around. The arguments that Wooden car bodies 'won't stand up' or that wood and steel are incompatible materials, just don't fly.

    Thanks TBird.:D

What's interesting about the 1935 Buick is where the woodwork was broken. You learn where to reinforce or use better methods. The front door handles, the roof, the rear cargo window winders (should be recessed), and around the rear fenders was still in good shape. The running boards show the usual weakness of old age.

The really neat thing was where the roof joins up to the windshield. The wood was steamed into shape to get the curve and rotted on the downward front curve (where water must have accumulated over the years.) Lots of useful detail.

I liked the little rollup toolkit in the 1936 Ford woodie and that tire storage. I noticed the 'in-car' heater completely absent. The owners must've been Ford Tough!;)
