Last year I started a virtual car show where members could submit a picture of their wagon and members would then vote for their favourites. This year there will be nine categories which you can enter your wagons in. As last year, you can only enter one wagon per category, but can enter in more than one category.

    American Stock 1900 - 1979
    American Modified 1900 - 1979
    American Stock 1980 - 2007
    American Modified 1980 - 2007

    European and Japanese Stock 1900 - 1979
    European and Japanese Modified 1900 - 1979
    European and Japanese Stock 1980 - 2007
    European and Japanese Modified 1980 – 2007

    Beater (Any year)

A Virtual Car Show would not be complete without virtual trophies. Members with the top three votes per category will be presented with virtual trophies that will be placed under their user name.

Beater (Any Year)? How badly beaten? Does a 1948 Hu Man count?! Two-tone roof (brown and grey), body color changes with car-cover, blue headlights, no taillights, no bumpers, good horn, decent resonator, but no muffler. Engine has lots of mileage, but in near-virgin condition. :D

Hey RK! You've got to see this site that HandyAndy passed onto me:

    http://rolledon.com/index.htm

Fairly new, but the guys are ingenious. Some neat tips on wetsanding, even adding metalflake.

I'll see what I can do. But I might have to use one of my picture I already have.

It's a new site, but the guys are pushing the Roller Job envelope. As long as they keep that going, they'll keep growing. It's got potential for good ideas. I saw one neat article about texturizing interior moldings (A-Pillars), using a spray can product. Never thought about that.

One roller technique that sounds better than straight-line rolling was what one fellow called 'cross-hatching'. It makes sense, especially on the horizontal surfaces. Helps reduce paint ridges. Some good ideas.
