How long is your garage? If I hadn't read that it was in the bodyshop, I would have asked if you had more room.:rofl2:

What a beautiful restoration! She's good for the next 45 years, now.

Forever and Orthmann....Mercs and trucks....I'd have a hard time chosing between both. The Merc, the lines and style....The truck, I could remove the back seat and have room for the dogs;)

I dont know if you guys have seen this before. After the film Christine was made all thoes totalled 1958 Plymouth Furys were sent to the same wreckers. All the wrecked cars used up in the movie went to this one yard in California. This guy who was looking for a part for his car found 'em and took pictures before they all became roofing nails.

Wow what a waste ! Id have loved to have one of thoes 58 Furys. These yards are what dreams are created from.

'Christine' the movie was OK - more like a 'TV' movie than one for the theatre, but the BOOK WAS INCREDIBLE!!!! I highly recommend it.

Nice truck, OrthmannJ. Back around 1989, I had a '79 F350 Crew (longbed) to tow my 5th wheel. Right now, I'm eying one very similar yours that a guy down the street has. Seems to have been sitting for a short while, next to an older 5th wheel. The guy also has a new truck and 5th wheel, so I'm assuming this one may be on the market soon. I think it's got 4WD, too. Guess I should introduce myself when I'm out walking the dog........

Christine was a crazy movie. A 1958 Plymouth Fury that rebuilds itself after being burned, crushed, crashed into a building then takes over the mind of its owner. The teenaged kid gets possessed with the car even dissing his best friend and girlfriend for the sake of the car. Christine was a very jelous car. The gas station scene was kewl, where the angry Plymouth goes after the guys that bashed it in with sledgehammers and took a dump on its dashboard. The vengeful Fury chases down one of them with a 67 Camero and blows the Chevy up at a gas station. After the kid is dead , his Camero blown up, the Fury rolls back into the storage garage, smoltering from the fire and within minutes rebuilds itself. Every time the car kills someone its old radio always played a 1950s love song. A great movie. Like from 1979 or somewhere back then. Back when these Furys werent worth anything.
