Either my 302 was very ill, or HandyAndy's is souped up. :)

Actually, when I bought the donor car, the engine had just been rebuilt professionally by the Ford dealership, along with the tranny (C4), so when the owner drove it over, he took me for a ride. I was impressed at how it perfromed. It's not a racer, but niether was the 302. I'll stick with Peppy, except if I'm hauling a trailer full of garden soil. :2_thumbs_up_-_anima

Hey! :boxing: I resemble that remark.
Time to fine tune that bird of yours.
I suggest, for starters, taking a pair of pliers and giving the u-bend in the accelerator pump rod a little squeeze.:mischeif:

No really it's OK. It's actually peppy at 35 mph and on up. My Cougar is quite heavy compared to Fairmonts. 3200 lbs. + (the + is for me LoL)But I'm quite satisfied. I've never had anything above 150 horsepower. But, that Mazda rotary pickup truck I had would down right scoot and it was 110 horsepower.

    howdy hoo!

    Yepp.

I have been doin some thinking.

I would settle for getting my hands on a ford ltd, from the eighties.
Black, whie raised letter tires, full option option list, red leather interior.
And turbine wheels, or some other cool rims, that might resemble eighties style.

But this one was very sweet!

    And this one

That´s about the ones I really like.
Of course there is many, but on the top of my list.
    That is the ones.

    Cheers folks!

Nice to see there is active members in this community. :)

Personally I like the Sport Wagon the best. Mainly because I like being different and it's not as accepted as the Olds Vista Cruiser.
