No Reserve: 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe Body Shell Project for sale on BaT Auctions - ending February 12 (Lot #229,779) | Bring a Trailer At $24k with a day to go. So, are you basically buy a Vin tag and the split window?
Now, I have truly seen it all. From the comments: "‘Bring half a Trailer’" and "Considering a bid, just so I can show my wife what I just bid on. Wish me luck."
It has a clean title!! Looks like something you used to see the Beverly Hills Car Club list on ebay years ago. I cannot belive somebody is will to give over $36k (as of this writing) for that thing.
Sold for USD $70,000 on 2/12/26 seems crazy. to resto mod this I can't imagine doing a restoration for under 100k??? seriously you all our car guys, what would it cost to get this car show level, knowing you spend 70k to buy it as is??? ls3 engine, trans, suspension, etc

LS3-Powered 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Split-Window Coupe for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $176,000 on January 23, 2026 (Lot #227,535) | Bring a Trailer can you get it to this condition for another $106K? Need work
I'm out of the loop as far as what it costs to pay people to do stuff. Didn't that box Buick wagon where the proceeds went to charity a few weeks ago have a build price of $300k? I would think this would exceed that by a wide margin. You would basically have to buy another complete Corvette to make this happen. I mean, where are you going to get a frame? In the end, you will have a split window Corvette, but nothing will be original numbers matching which will be shunned in the Corvette community, so is it really worth it?
I don't mean to give anyone ideas. But, if all else fails, this probably wouldn't be the first time someone's done this
