    Gorgeous car. They had me until I saw under the hood and seeing a Chevy motor in anything but a Chevy still just irks and bothers me, even if I understand why people do it.

    And no seat belts. Big yikes.

    But it sure is an absolutely gorgeous car, love those vintage black plates too.

    yes, I agree I don't like mixing mfg. engines and bodies. Just me though.

    Yeah, that bummed me out, also. If it had to be an eight, then a Poly or Hemi would have been closest to being period- and brand correct

    Maybe I spend too much time on the Motortrend channel, but imagine there is still a supply of slant 6s in rusted out 60s - 70s Darts and Valiants that could be made to run.

    Easiest mod in my opinion, would have been to put a little Chrysler Corp 318 V8 under the hood. They're probably even cheaper than a Chevy 350.
