5 days left. No reserve. The descripti0n says, "You are welcome to call for a buy it now price (it is very reasonable). 530-723-2145. Thanks." Could turn out to be a good deal.
I wonder if that door is fixable? If it goes that cheap, this would be a good car for Bill Mercman....
A really good body man can fix most anything. Once, it would have been a lot cheaper to just replace the door, but try finding one these days. I suppose the door from a Ford would work. Add the cost of matching the woodgrain -- and I'll bet you can't make a decent match to the 53 year old transfer, so you'll end up having to re-decal the whole car, and what's the sense of doing that without repainting the car, and to do that properly you'll have to fix all the other body problems, so you're practically into a full restoration -- and, if the dent can be fixed while leaving the woodgrain intact, that will be the most economical way to go by far. I doubt the car will go that cheap. It jumped from $2550 to $4050 in 3 hours, and it still has 4 days to go. I'm guessing it will sell close to $10K and may well go north of that, even with the dent. If I had some room and spare cash...
Hmmm. I thought the description said Prescott, AZ. Even Bakersfield wouldn’t be too far. I noticed the data plate said Bakersfield as the selling dealer, which helped me figure the blue plate plates. It is also a bit odd as the DSO was Dallas (52). I would have thought that car would have been ordered out of the LA DSO. Wonder if it got zone traded, or redirected at the last minute. Who knows? Probably a moot point, as I need another car like a moose needs a hat rack.

If you're suggesting this as a parts car for the '70, I doubt it would be feasible. The inside door handle mechanism on a '69 is a bit different from the '70. I don't know if the '70 mechanism can be swapped onto the '69 door. And, of course, you'd still have to deal with the woodgrain.
Agree that that the inside door mechanism is different. The outer skin may work but agree otherwise not an impressive parts car even.
