He says it's "too nice to restore." What's to restore? It looks gorgeous as is!

Yeah except for that little spots on the front seat, this car is stunning. Nice car.

Great ad. He might even be a bit TOO critical of his own wagon.

There will be a buyer for this one soon..........

Got room for one more, Jim?

You aren't the first to ask if I could make room for this one. The answer is "No". Oh, I like it. But, I want to finish the one that's in my garage now, and then the white one I have will go away. of course, this one is very tempting.

Me as a Mopar guy: "Why hello there!" ;):p

Totally agreed with the above statements. He's overstating its need for a restoration a bit much and I agree with @Krash Kadillak in saying this is a great ad that is about as open, clear, transparent and confidence-inspiring as any ad as you're likely to come across. The owner comes across as very friendly, genuine and accommodating, and very fair. I really like this listing a lot. It's very nicely put together. This is EXACTLY the kind of ad I'd love to read as a prospective buyer of any car.

This car might be a little more than I'd want to pay, but other than some minor rust, a couple holes in the bench seat upholstery and non-functioning A/C, this is a really sweet ride. I love the tasteful colours and I've always had a soft spot for 1966-'67 B-body Mopars, and an even bigger soft spot for the polysphereical-headed 318! Poly power, baby! Woohoo! :bananaman: It's honestly one of my favourite engines of all-time and they can sound great too.

    I found this interesting though:

'Those stainless pieces came out of some mid-eighties Chrysler LeBaron wagons, so I kept it all Mopar! Looks awesome and 'factory'!'

I immediately noticed that in the pictures, but to the untrained eye it sure does look like it could be factory! I normally would not do something like that, but well, it's there and it actually looks nice, so I'd leave it. I'd just take care of the minor rust, overspray it, have the holes in the upholstery fixed, recharge/repair the A/C and enjoy this car the way it is. I really like this wagon. Approved! (y)

The 318 in this one wouldn't be the 318 Poly unless it's a Canadian car. The last year for the 318 Poly in the U.S. was '66. I like the carpet and stainless rub strips in the back. Both of my 67 Belvedere wagons have the same issue. The rubber mat has peeled up and cracked. No factory style replacement is available. I was planning on carpet to replace it, but the rub strips are a nice added touch I might consider doing myself.

Ah, you're right! I do know that, but I'm just so used to seeing '67 Mopars up here with the poly in it that I just wasn't thinking. lol Funny enough, I didn't even notice the valve covers, which are clearly wedge-style covers. Oops! Anyway, yeah, this is a sharp lookin' wagon that I'd be happy to own. I even like the Torque Thrusts on it too, but I'd also like to see original wheels and caps on it as well. I could go either way.
