I just bought a 55 Wagon. I'm looking for a few parts. Are the front end parts swappable with the two and four door regular cars? I need windshield trim.

    - Red Ram V8
    - Middle windshield chrome trim
    - Front turn signal round marker lights
    - Front bumper mounts.

Unfortunately, my technical knowledge on pre-60s Mopars is pretty limited, but I would assume they would be. As a cost savings and for ease of engineering, I would doubt the windshield and trim was different from equivalent 2dr., 4dr. and wagon models, but I really can't say for sure.

With that said, that's a really nice ride you've got there! I'm glad to see you want to put a Red Ram in it too! Respect! (y) Too many of these cars get 350s or modern Hemis thrown into them, so it's refreshing to see you want something more original to the car in it. As a Mopar guy, I always get WAY more excited to see a Red Ram under the hood of one of these cars than anything else.

Best of luck with your hunt and welcome to the forum! :)

    Cheers.

If a sheep is a Ram and a donkey is an Ass, why is a Ram in the Ass a Goose? :rofl2:

My uncle had a 55 Dodge with a Red Ram that he drove back and forth to work. It was dark blue and they called it the Blue Goose,

Welcome to the SWF, Freakzilla! (Suggestion: Do an 'intro' thread over in the 'Welcome Wagon' section. Tell us a little about yourself...)

Really nice wagon you have there, and it looks vaguely familiar to me. Wondering if perhaps the previous owner was also a member here?

Hey Feakzilla. Welcome to the Forum. As Marshall said start a thread in the welcome wagon section, and also post your ride in the “American wagon” section. That’s also a great place to highlight your wagon. It’s a pretty ride, and again welcome. You’ll find many Mopar members here.

Worked at an Auto electric shop in Detroit back in the 70's where we had a blue 55 Chrysler we used as a push car that we called the "Blue Goose".
