    I couldn't agree more! :thumbs2:

That seems to make a lot of sense. I would say it's one of those lucky "life is stranger than fiction" moments. I doubt they could replicate the same results if they tried 100 times.

I should have checked in sooner, sorry. Everyone is good. Mom (91) is slowing down but still very active. I try to get her out for day trips and lunch as much as possible. My daughter and I took her on a whale watching trip. It was amazing!
We didn't see any whales. The weather was windy, rainy and all together miserable. What an amazing experience being out on the ocean with the boat crashing through the waves. While the lady behind us was getting sick and mom sleeping, daughter and I were singing whatever boat related songs we could think of. It was a real maritime experience.:bouncy:
Also busy camping and house stuff...and of course there's work. But really no excuse for not checking in. Hope everyone has been behaving themselves around here. o_O

PS: they gave us free passes to come back another time...:woohoo1:

    Hope the weather is better.:dancing:

    .

Tornadoes have been known to place small planes up in trees and on top of buildings .... but in this case I think not because the houses on the street would have evidence of wind damage as well

Well............ I remembered my password too! :bouncy:
It's sorta sad we used to comment here way too much. Now I rarely turn this computerized thing on! The way the weather has been many members are probably burned out, flooded, or blown away! Stay safe and keep on playing with your wagons. Mine sits almost alone, forlorn and nearly forgotten. 55-41Wallpaper.jpg

I'd rather be back in Florida. At least I don't have to worry about hurricanes....... Last evening we did have two tornado warnings.
No airplanes on the roof but a biplane crop duster sometimes comes close. Hang in there.... We're all in this together.

Denny, I know things have changed, but it's always a pleasure to hear from you. I wish I lived closer so I could help you get the 55 out and give it some company so it wasn't alone and forlorn.
And Jennifer, thanks for the story. Sounds like you all had a great time. Family should ALWAYS be first priority. I understand how priorities change.
Glad to hear from both of you. I hope we hear more from you again soon.

Agreed Denny. It’s great to see you both back on and I too wish I was closer for ‘55 company. But I can tell you as a Chicago transplant this time of the year was sad for me. Some nice days, but man you paid the price in spades till about May. Love the southwest. Illinois is a great place to visit. But Chicago is a lost cause, and not only weather wise.

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been knocked out of the sky by a Tornado, seeing as how the crash occurred in San Jose, California.

Remember, Marshall, Mother Nature does what she wishes. Joe, the family and I had to endure biting cold temps back in February, the first in thirty years, and every so often, a twister pops up somewhere over Western Washington, so don't count San Jose out just yet.

Plus if it were wind I think the plane would have plopped on the house differently. This looks like it was headed somewhere. I go with an engine issue. IMHO
