Hi there, Been a member here lurking for a while, and finally first post now as I get closer to securing my wagon. Looking for some parts for it which I will post in the appropriate forum. Will post images of my wagon when I receive it. My wagon history downunder over the years has been been a variety of Australian Falcon wagons from the 60's, 70's in various trims, mostly 351 Cleveland powered, and owned during that period as well a 1959 Fairlane Ranch Wagon in pale blue/cream from back then which I wish I still owned. So here I am returning to my youth and my long time love of wagons!
Good day mate! Welcome back into the craziness of being a steward of a longroof! What variety of the beast have you come to be in possession of? Can't wait to hear more about your wagon in the future! Till then.....Longroofs Rule!
Welcome Woody. I would suspect if you took a poll amongst this group a good majority of them also harken back to a fond time in their youth of a great family wagon, or a trip, or a warm memory riding in the way back, seated or not. We look forward to seeing pictures and hearing your stories!
Yeah, like riding in my fathers 426 Wedge equipped Dodge 880 wagon as he left the RCMP behind, he always referred to it as being a 426 Yankee car.
