Sorry Mister, it’s a lovely car, but it is not completely original. Wood siding was planked on those years.

It appears to have the correct wood siding in this picture.

I am thinking the wood does not match. Driver side and tailgate are correct. Passenger side is wrong.

For 1971 factory look, it should have the wood planking design - does not have it on passenger side.

You’re right. It’s not the same side to side. Plus in looking at the carpet on the drivers side I find 33,000 miles very hard to believe.

This one's far from being a cream puff.......... Call me not particularly impressed.

He explains a couple of times how easy the heater core change out is, and it comes with the heater core. Ah change it out then.

Yeah I always get a kick out of these auctions that tell you how easy all the deferred maintenance is to complete, or how little money it takes to finish everything off. I mean if I was advertising a car that needed $500 to finish. I’d finish it, advertise the car “complete” and try for another grand or two in my pocket. It makes me wonder what other gremlins, sorry AMC guys, are awaiting. Also just a gratuitous aside where’s the seat belts? They look professionally removed rather than just cut out. Lots of questions

Seriously. If a car needs a heater core or the AC recharged, I presume there's WAY more wrong with it than just doing those "minor" items. If the car has those issues needing addressing, then it becomes a message of how cheap\lazy the seller is.

And the sea belts thing... I've bought a few cars lately and ALL of them have had the seat belts removed. I can imagine the old codger who bought the car was one of those "I don't believe in seat belts!" types. When I bring this up to the sellers they get all snippy and mean about it but... geebus guys, would you WANT to drive a car with no seat belts in today's demo-derby roads?

The title clearly states “patina” LOL. Patina is seller lingo for rust, just like any old piece of trash is “vintage”.
