Let's see, we have a certain car that may have been sold for $14,100 in late Nov and now an identical car shows up somewhere else for sale @$25,000 in mid Dec. Life is sure full of coincidences. Never a fan of these cars when they were new. Thought GM was just being too cheap to put in a roll down backseat window and the result looked cheesy.
I believe this (new) seller will have unrealized expectations.......... Sorta like the guys who bought my Safari.
Never all that popular when new, these "glasshouse" Chevys now have quite a following. But I think this one is priced so high (and not without reason given the excellent condition and high level of factory options) it is not likely to sell - those who would most want it are unlikely to be able to afford it.
The car isn't identical, but instead similar. One has a blue vinyl the other red. But both rare being white.
The amount he sold his '81 for vs. what they are flipping it for was truly a head-spinning amount of money difference for the amount of "work" they did to it and the amount of work he said it was sold needing...
