If it's Galveston, it's the Gulf of Mexico.

I've stood on the beach outside of the Hotel del Coronado, and I'd think that it more resembles the U.S. Grant Hotel on Broadway, downtown San Dog.

That is a great photo, and the paint on your wagon is stunning.

Thanks for the compliment. In the early 1900s a racer was killed in the Indy 500 driving a green car. Americans stopped ordering green cars. But we got over it.
Some of my hot-rod friends had reservations when I told them I was doing green and peanut butter. But they got over it.

It's funny, even though various shades of green could be found on nearly every model line from the Fifties all the way to recently, there have always been whispers of "don't buy a green car." In the mid-'90s, I had a green/green/green interior Granada Ghia 2-door, and I tried starting a "Green Fords" club. No one else joined.

I never knew the backstory that an Indy 500 driver was killed in a green car. But when I was still drag racing in the mid-90's to early 2000's, I always heard "Don;t paint your can green, it's bad luck." Now I may actually know where that legend originated from. Thank you. And I agree, your wagon looks fantastic.
