1957 Packard

Finally got around to putting my 1957 Packard Clipper wagon together. Working on interior panel at present. Been a struggle remembering where I put all the parts I took off the car years ago! Thank

Hi The inferior is black-cream vinyl- gray cloth inserts. And has a beige headliner.

Also was great to place grocery bags on while putting them in the rear cargo area!

 

There's another one of those in the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon," which was blue and white. It certainly had a great deal of flair as compared to the Big Three.

 

Yes, car is a real head turner and has “flair” . Most folks say “I never saw one before” which is understandable as they built under a thousand of them.
I was searching for a 1957 Studebaker Broadmoor to buy when this car presented itself. It’s been expensive but worth it.

Hi, yes, I’m a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club. I was a member years ago in the 1970’s when I drove a 1964 Commander V8 that my dad had bought new. I drove it while in high school and college. Great resourse for parts, they steered me to Newman & Altman in South Bend. Rejoined a few years back when I found this Clipper.

 

Studebaker Driver's Club, that's the name.
