Paint over raise white lettering

I need to paint over the raised white lettering of my front tires. My tires are wearing on the inside. The wagon was aligned but apparently its off. I want to flip the tires over so the inside would be on the outside and eventually even out the wear. Problem is the other side of the tire has raised white lettering.
I am looking for a paint that will cover the white lettering.
The wagon goes in a straight line and flipping the tires is a better solution than buying new tires and getting a new alignment.
Any suggestions?

Back in the late '60's, early 70's we used to use some stuff called "Tire Black". It came in a paint can and you applied it with a brush. I wanted to black out some White Letters on the inside of some tires one day and asked for it at my local parts store. They all looked and said "What is Tire Black"? Lol.

If available, the Duplicolor above looks good.

 

I picked up the paint today. I'll have the tires flipped tomorrow. My only concern is the paint says its a gloss finish. We'll see.

 

Mix a little talcum powder in with the paint. It'll flatten the gloss out.

 

Spray paint

 

Spray it into a bottle cap and add the talc. Then paint it on with a brush.
