Very pretty car. I would be totally shocked if that were all original paint, he said “appears to be all original” that ‘70’s GM silver was the worst. They usually looked like ripening bananas by year 4. Congrats to the owner of its an original car.

The following image hints on the paint's originality, in that a flaw is to be seen. If it was garage-kept, like the dashboard's preservation betrays, it's also likely that it has never been repainted

It seems to me that a heatshield is missing, between the converter and transmission pan. If it isn't, a massive heat load is added to the cooling system

I would not suspect any repaint - especially if the represented low miles are correct.

I guess and given the panel under the rear window I would also assume it was the original paint, but their silver was lousy, and am still shocked. Lol

Those GMs either never had a heat shield, or someone removed them, because all the Seventies GM cars I've worked on, as well as owned myself, never had any. They began using shields in the early Eighties, IIRC.

E Bay ? With those miles and apparent originality I think I would have contacted Barrett-Jackson. That crowd seems to have lots of money and there is alcohol.

If the miles are authentic, that price is not out of line.
