The vintage WWII planes flew over Houston Sunday. Sarge and I enjoyed the fly-over. We also got a picture of the Blue Angels a week earlier.
Yeah, I would've loved to have been there to see that. Tomorrow, the Thunderbirds are overflying San Antonio in the midday, and Austin in the afternoon. I'm thinking of running out to Schertz or New Braunfels to try to catch a few pics of them. We have an auxiliary airfield about a mile away from the house here in Seguin, but their flight path bypasses it.
Blue angels are flying over Nashville @ noon today. Your in Texas?!?! New Braunfels has a killer Oktoberfest! Just don’t date any women from New Braunfels. At least it didn’t work out for me
I'm in Missouri City Tx...a small town adjacent to Houston. I was born and raised in Houston. I have had my wagon for over two years now and can count the vintage wagons I have seen on one hand... :-(
Sadly a lot of wagons didn’t make it. That’s what makes ours so special. Can’t believe too that there are still demo derby guys that are in the hunt for clamshells. I guess some folks don’t have a sense for the uniqueness of big ‘70’s wagons.
I guess, some folks don't have sense enough to pull the plug upon brain death. In the case of Derbyists, immediately before a driver's license is issued to them
Yeah, I have a great-grandmother on my father's side who was German...and strict. Her weapon of choice was a long-handled wooden spoon, especially when my grandpa and my great uncle would argue politics at the dinner table. She hated it and used that spoon to good effect.
Did she use it like that '67 Ford wagon's rear door's torsion bar from that other thread that punished that junkyard employee who was attempting to remove it?
And the ironic part: she was a doctor! Although, she did not practice medicine while she was married.
