    Love me those 59s!!
I had for a brief time a 1959 Brookwood 2 door wagon. Had big plans BUT the poor thing was rotten 59 on rotisserie.jpg to the core. I can save rusty cars but this thing was bad. Floors rockers quarters were all gone and I could handle it if it were just that, EVERY wagon specific piece of the body was paper thin! Had to punt it,,, so sad.
This is my Bel-Air 2 door hard top. New floors, rockers, trunk and quarters. Not quite a wagon but it`s HUGE. LOL

Love the old Fins on Chevrolets. My Parents had a two tone like this. Midwest wagon but had a I-6 & horrible body rust. Dad & I tried to repair the rust. Rust would return around the patch. This was in 1960's when no patch panel were made. I love what you have done. ME? I would have searched for a 348ci with a Turbo glide.

I was on the 348/409 fence for a bit as well. My engine builder has several 348 cores and one 409. LT1/T56 was chosen for the ease of ownership, today's fuels, EFI, and over drive.
My car was I-6 with a iron turbo glide originally. I simply can't stand the 2 speed with the amount of HW driving I have to do.

NOTHING will beat the look of the W motor though.
