I know these places! I saw the first one, and the signs for Trident Imports and the Cove Restaurant (now Chandler's Cove) along Alaskan Way brings back childhood memories; of course, Pike Place Market, but Sick's stadium, where the Seattle Pilots played just one season before the owners uprooted them lock stock and barrel, to Milwaukee. Later, the King County Domed Stadium (the Kingdome) was built, and because of the lawsuit brought by the city against MLB, the court ordered the MLB to give Seattle a new franchise, which of course is the Mariners.

I love the contrast in this photo! Bright and cheerful color on the cars and gas station. Heck even the tractor is brightly colored. Then, juxtapose that with the background, beginning with the rail cars and all of the buildings behind them.

Is that sphere held up by magnets? There's probably an invisible wire but what am I looking at?
