That interior looks quite snazzy. Whoever buys it, I hope they own a car museum.

Agreed. I really loved all of the “special addition” Lincoln’s from that period. I totally get the mileage disclosure. I have a ‘78 with a 460 that gets far better mileage than my ‘79 with a 400. But I wanted the ‘79 cause I like the collector series.

If you are looking for a late 70's Mark, you would be hard pressed to find a better car at a better price.

Now, this IS a Lincoln. Not one of those bullsh!t MKS's like I have(although it is a pretty pleasant driver).

I'd like to take a spin in a new Connie and see how it stacks up, My son hitched a ride in a Black Label and said it was pretty substantial, BUT he has limited exposure to the real Lincolns. His '96 Townie is a good candidate, but I think for him, it'd be a real eye opener to hitch a ride in a 58-60, a Mark III or a 70's Connie......

What Designer Edition did I personally like best? Tough to say, as they changed year from year.

But I do really like this one!

Also keep in mind this car is in Canada, about 100 miles east of Vancouver, and looks to be advertised in CAN$ so those of you will American $$ will get an additional discount due to the exchange rate!

Wish I could afford it, as I'm only a hop, skip and a jump from there.

The thing I like about this car it’s business on the outside and party on the inside. Seems very in keeping of the ‘70s itself.

So you're saying it's the Mullet of the car world?

Well I think that’s a good analogy, except I can’t get my head around mullet, and Lincoln in the same breath. You’d be totally spot on if we were looking at a Pucci edition Nova. No, I think it reminds me of an old maid aunt (40) that wears business suites all the time, then you find a picture of her on a guy’s yacht with a drink and cigarette in her hand wearing a miniskirt, you think, Damn Aunt Agnes is a real swinger and you never knew. That kinda pleasant surprise. Ya dig?
