Gus was his lesser known younger brother who drove a '68 Ford wagon.

Something about these '68 Ford wagons with the hidden headlights that just look right.

I think that whole ‘68-‘70 series looked really nice with the hidden headlamps. Also really like the ‘69-‘78 Mercury headlights. The hidden lamps seemed natural on those cars as well. Don’t know if it was a cost thing, but was surprised that Ford had the two different LTD fronts, but kinda glad they did.

I was going to comment on the hideaway headlights as well.
I really like the look of this wagon. I'd be happy to own it.

I'd be a little nervous for that price, especially since in a couple shots, you can see newer over spray under the car. No idea what that is hiding...

As I've said before, I'm a big fan of hideaway headlights and of woodgrain. Put them together...
That's why I own 4 wagons with both features -- including a '68 Country Squire.

Can't figure the strategy on this one. Apparently no bids at an opening of $8500, so it's relisted as a Buy It Now at $10,000.

It's better than a 20-foot car, but there are some flaws. Even if I had it, I wouldn't pay the original opening bid much less the BIN in the relisting. I'd want it to be a bit better for that kind of money. It seems too much to pay for surround rails with peeling decals, torn upholstery, and torn headliner. For a lot of people another big con on this car is lack of AC.

I'd say a realistic price for this car would be somewhere in the $6K - $7K range assuming no hidden problems.
