A few years back, there was a 65 Comet for sale, here in the LA area, that looked a bit like this...Am thinking it would take a little getting used to,before zooming the streets of the city...

I like this approach  to the classics. That way you can drive it all over town without worrying about some yahoo crashing into you and making for some very expensive bodywork. In Texas trucks are everywhere, and there bumpers hit above most car bumpers.

If you've ever driven in Winnipeg you'd know this is the way to go.
We are the pot-hole capital of Canada.

Ain't that the truth! They estimated they needed $153 million to fix them, AGAIN! They pumped in $145 million in 1999 for the Summer Games, and here we are again 10 years later. (y)

Heh, sounds a bit like Oregon. The pothole is now the official state rock.

It was a few years back...The Los Angeles Department Of Street Maintainance announced it needed $2,000,000,000 over a two year period,to fix all the potholes it allready knew about.AND,that two year period to get them fixed...Then,after that,it would need an untold amount of money to start working on the then two year old backlog of potholes awaiting repair...

When they built these old streets, they never planned on big trash trucks in the alleys. Almost 1/2 of the city have them. Those aren't included. In the winter, we can't park on the street, for snow clearing, and most of us can only get into our driveways from... the alley. Time for a Maintenance Mayor, instead of a Legacy monument Mayor.
