I’ve met the seller in person and the car is local if you want me to go check it out and take better pictures.

Actually it ended and then eBay suggested that the green GS convertible would be something similar to the wagon! Somewhat hidden next to the GS was the link to the 74 Estate with "ended". eBay is doing that now, just replacing the ended listing with another car.

I really studied the pics and I am positive this car has been repainted and is not a survivor car.

    1) it has the chrome trim between back doors and rear side windows. That was only used for two tone paint or vinyl top

    2) the left front fender well inner fender bolts are painted maroon and they should be blac

    3) has nothing to do with the paint but the extra starter is not even for this car.

So after noticing this issues I’d really have to ha e someone look the car over before I would be seriously interested in it

    Swanny,
See link to old forum post on this car on page #1 of this thread. You actually had a comment on that thread 2 years ago. Car has been painted, was a white top two tone. The buyer of it 2 years posted a photo pre-paint and before a rebuilt tranny was dropped in. Sinc76 looked at the car back then and shared comments about it but he didn't buy it. Looks like the whole car was painted burgundy since the fender bolts sprayed too.

Agree with moparandfomoco... I bought a ‘57 Montclaire that the original owner had bought new in New Mexico. Car quit running in 1970. Thankfully she had a two car garage so it sat with the new Montego. It only needed a fuel pump to get it to spin. All the underneath “stuff” is original. Also just replaced the original muffler on a ‘49 Windsor. Don’t miss Chicago either moparandfomoco man either.
