Nice. Now all you need to do is finish the Beaumont. Once that's done he wont want to ride in anything else. :thumbs2:

    Some sad news today.:(

I took Lil'Sis for her MVI today and she failed.

There were a few mechanical issues but the shocker was a hole in the frame, passenger side, just below the dog leg. :cold:

I called the body guy who did our truck, we dropped her off this morning to see what the damage is going to be. :cautious:

This late in the season I may wait until spring to have the work done. Or maybe just sell her, there is a guy who wants her.

We will need our truck back on the road before winter. :hmmm:

What we don't need is another project waiting to have body work done.:grumpy:

The whole thing has really taken the wind out of my sails. :(

Fannie, take a breath and don't give up! That should be repairable.
I had to do something similar to a car that was only 8 years old at the time.

That's a bummer Fannie. I'm sorry to hear that. Listen to jmt455, I'm sure you can get it taken care of.

sorry to hear the news, hope it isn't terminal

latest on the 85 Colony Park - new brake lines and master cylinder - master cylinder was original to the car - so not surprised that it needs to be replaced,

That is a bummer. Nice use of the smiley faces though. Down here if a car won’t pass inspection we just get it registered in one of the surrounding rural counties that don’t have as strict of requirements

That would get you in big trouble here, as it constitutes fraud. Your addresses on your DL, residence, insurance card, tax roles, etc all have to match. The cost of plates is minimal, but each county charges it's own local fees and they vary wildly.

The entire province has the same MVI.
Usually when you car doesn't pass the MVI they replace the sticker with a REJECT sticker which gives you ten days to legally travel to a garage to have work done. But the mechanic said it was so bad that he couldn't even do that...told me not to drive it at all. Scared we, it was only the week before that I took my grandson to the beach, about an hours drive each way.
We're still waiting to hear from the body guy so no news yet.

If you wonder as to where your province has gotten such ideas

Daaaaaaang! That’s harsh. I guess there’s a reason for everything. That salt must be vicious. The most snow I’ve ever seen was probably 3 years ago we got about 8 inches. Then it all melted the next day
