Claimed 11k original miles. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1884-Mercu...LS-/112979674203?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
I saw this the other day, and couldn't believe it - if the car sticker out at $15,000 back in 84 , in todays money it would be Inflation Calculator 15,000.00 in 1984 had the same buying power as $36,504.05 in 2018 even though the seller listed the following "The vehicle went through a detailed inspection. New gas tank, new break master and slaves, new tires, new battery. New window regulator motors replaced since some were slow." we all know that is just the tip of the iceberg, I am sure the hoses; gaskets; seals and rubber bushings have to be replaced due to age. why was it "Non-Op for the past years,"? so yes it is virtually a "new" 84 and very nice, and I hope he gets close to asking but I still go back to the 1989 CP that R&M auctions sold last June with 23,000 miles and it went for $9350.00, also a Calf. car - I use that as the bench mark https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/...9-mercury-grand-marquis-ls-colony-park/565188 as I have always said "Dreams are free" so Grizz don't spend the money yet!
Frankly, I'd give up some miles, money and a bit of condition to get a cheaper, NEWER one that has the fuel injection.
Price UP again. This seller clearly is not serious. https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/d/1984-mercury-grand-marquis/6742153170.html
